The day that
begins everything
Luss is one of Scotland’s most sought-after wedding destinations. We have been helping families mark the moments that matter for as long as anyone can remember. The setting is extraordinary. The rest, we handle.
A village that knows
how to celebrate
Luss is not a wedding venue. It is a place — a living, breathing village on the banks of the most beautiful loch in Scotland — that happens to be an extraordinary setting for the most important day of your life.
We don’t do packages. We don’t have a standard menu or a preferred supplier list. We sit down with you, we listen to what matters, and we build your day from the Estate outward — exactly the way we approach everything here.
Luss Church stands at the village gate. The loch is two minutes on foot. The mountains are on every horizon. We have yet to meet a photographer who wasn’t grateful to be here.
The Clan Colquhoun have been gathering in Luss to mark the great occasions of family life since the 13th century. In that sense, you’re joining a tradition with rather good form.
Three distinct
settings
Each space has its own character and its own capacity. Most couples end up using all three across the day.
Luss Church sits at the heart of the village, surrounded by a graveyard that tells 800 years of Colquhoun family history. It is bookable through us, and we can introduce you to the right people. For civil ceremonies, the hotel grounds are licensed.
The dining room and bar, opened fully into one another, with the courtyard beyond. Drinks in the courtyard the evening. The logistics are ours to manage. You just have to turn up and enjoy it.
Take the entire hotel — all fifteen rooms, all three spaces, the courtyard, the lochside. We close to the public for your weekend. The house is yours entirely, from Friday evening to Sunday at noon.
Tell us about your day
Every wedding we host begins the same way: with a conversation. There are no packages to choose from, no menus to tick. Just a blank page and our full attention.
Write to us, or call. Tell us who you are, what you’re imagining, and when you’re thinking. We’ll take it from there and build your day from the Estate outward.
We only host one wedding per weekend, so availability is genuinely limited. If you have a date in mind, it’s worth getting in touch sooner rather than later.
